Located in the West Central area of Texas. San Angelo is home to Goodfellow Air Force Base, Angelo State University (a four-year university), and Howard College (a two-year junior college). San Angelo has an outdoor amphitheater and a museum dedicated to the art of the Southwest. For history buffs, there is Fort Concho, an 1800’s era frontier fort.
